It was with profound sadness that we learned of the passing of one of our staff, Pan McKay. Pan was a longtime volunteer with the Clay County 1890 Jail Museum. She brought her extensive knowledge of Library Sciences to the museum, and set up a viable system of cataloging and indexing the thousands of donation items received at the museum. Pan was one of the key members responsible for operating the old jail and preserving so much of Clay County history for others to enjoy. But more than that, Pan was a delightful person. She was a pleasure to talk with, and always willing to respond to any request you might have. To her family and extended family we extend our deepest sympathies. And to Pan, we pledge to continue the task you started, and will not let it fail. Rest easy old friend.
